Turner was founded in 1902 as a general contracting and concrete company. Through our pioneering use of reinforced concrete, by the 1920s, we had built 70% of the concrete buildings in New York City. That same spirit thrives today through our self-perform division and is a key part of our vision: to be the highest-value provider of global construction services and technical expertise.
